questions about frost plugs,oil gallery plugs etc..

I am getting my engine done right away.
I had question.You knock out all the old freeze plugs can you resuse them or do you have to buy new ones..and what about oil gallery plugs..are they resuseable ?And if not where do I buy these.are they standard sizes or hard to get mits stuff that will need to be ordered from mits.
i notice forced performance sells some kind of kit that seems to have all this stuff..not 100% sure whats in there from the picture though..
Also when is best time to paint the block..?

Knock out the old plugs and get new ones. They are very cheap. They are 35mm in size and there are 9 of them on the block. 3 up front, 4 in the back, 2 on the tranny side. I recomend using some Permatex cup/core sealant. The oil galley plug can be reused as it is only a threaded plug.

When to paint the block is all up to you. I assembled the bottom end first, then masked off everywhere where I didn't want to paint, then painted. First I used a few light coats of primer, followed by a few coats of gloss black.
