Ran the talon yesterday at our local track, was only able to get one god damn pass due to the weather, so this pass was just a low boost pass and using the nitrous for spool only to get it moving. Track conditions sucked, track temps were in the upper 40's. I spun/pedaled to a 1.61 60ft. Yanked 2nd gear and the bi*** took the off!
This was on 38lbs of boost with the nitrous shutting off at 25lbs (nitrous was only on for like maybe .1 tenth of a second. Extremely rich A/F's at 10.8 A/F and timing was low at 11 degrees to start the day off. But 30 minutes after this pass it started to down pore rain and forced us to pack up and go home. I'm sure if I had another pass it would have been an 8sec pass with no problems. I had the boost turned up to 45lbs for the next pass but never got it.
Heading back out to the track next weekend if the weather is any better. This was all on a ruff tune on a back road from 2 weeks ago

This car is faster then it was last season with lower boost and no nitrous for the whole pass. Last season I was on 42lbs and running 100shot all the way.

60ft. 1.616
330ft 4.151
1/8 6.105
mph 128.70
1000ft 7.777
1/4 9.176

I am forseeing some very nice 8.70's+ with a solid 1.3 60' from that car!

Nice trap MPH's also!

Good luck this season Jake, I hope that you can get some wicked times out of it!

I remember the BOTI vegas race chating about what is was gonna take to get in the 8s, well sir by the looks of your shake down run you need some traction in first and second and you are there man. Congrats on the run we will be looking foward to hanging with you again in vegas and sac this year. Did you end up upgrading that -6 fuel line that you was running?

This is why I like DSM's! I hope you get deep into the 8's next time.
