Anyhow we show up full force one sunday?

It was pretty dead this past sunday... i might go see where i stand next wednesday hopefully its better, only 10 to race but no timers.

I'm ready to go! My SD tune is good to go now and my work schedule is allowing me to go on a Sunday. As of right now I'll be at the track next Sunday, May 15th. This will be my first pass with v3 and more then stock boost. Looking to set a personal best and I'm excited to finally try out the 2 step. If anyone else wants to come out and run too let's do it!

EDIT - I was wrong on the date, it's going to be May 22nd. I can also go on Fridays, I might try to go this Friday. The number I have for the track is 892-0430 but I just called and it said the number is unavailable. Anyone know of another contact number? I want to make sure they are going to be open before I go.

Here is the new contact # for the track: Vic Hernandez 915-588-8119

Here's one of my vids from Friday night, as you can see I was having traction issues and that was feathering the throttle, I couldn't even put the hammer down until third gear. This was my last pass, 14.8 @ 104.3

<iframe width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/2TMgtRMlS44?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Here is all the info on my passes:

Pass - 60' - ET - MPH - Notes (changes listed were made prior to pass)
1 - 2.457 - 14.884 - 103.63 - 2 step was at 4k and slipped clutch
2 - 2.559 - 15.183 - 103.63 - lowered 2 step to 3.5, bogged no change to timing
3 - 2.674 - 15.339 - 103.97 - lowered timing to reduce knock, bogged
4 - 2.532 - 14.748 - 104.35 - lowered timing to reduce knock, raised 2 step back to 4k and slipped clutch, spun hard in 2nd but stayed on it.
5 - 2.644 - 14.861 - 104.31 - lowered timing to reduce knock in 4th gear only, slipped clutch and spun

On all of the passes I was spinning bad in first and second and with the exception of passes #1 and #4, I didn't go full throttle until 3rd gear (Pass #2 not until 4th gear). No track prep. There were 11 WRX's there, most modified STI's, and only 1 went 13's, the rest were 14's and 15's. My tire pressure was same as on the street, about 33 psi. No burnouts.

^^^nice! im the same as you but no tuning or fuel system my traction sucks i just need some steelies for my slicks whos going to the track on the 15th?

nathan at what deegres do you have the ignition timing?

Yeah I was actually running quicker back when I was running 11 psi with 450 injectors (14.3 ET) but I'm running a little faster now (104 MPH). The problem is that I have a lot more power but I'm not putting it on the ground very well.

I'm going to turn the boost down to 15-16 psi, (right now it's hitting 24 psi and tapering down to 15 but I can't even use it cause of the lack of traction), I'm going to switch to E85 and run more timing advance, and I'm going to go to the track on Sundays when the track is better prepped. I know I can hit 13's with FWD, street tires, full weight, and the 14b.

It looks like I'll be going to the track on the 22nd, not the 15th.

Right now when the full boost hits I'm running 8-9* advanced and later in the RPMs as the boost tapers off 12-14* advanced.

Went to the track tonight and was quite surprised to see a bunch of DSMers!!! It was awesome seeing (and meeting some of you) all you guys. I got a new personal best 14.1 @113 which is .2 and 12 MPH faster then my previous best pass. Once again there was no track prep and it's killing me. I'm on E85 now though which is as awesome as they say. I lowered my boost 4 psi, advanced my timing about 7* across the board and gained a lot of MPH. Now if I can go on a day with some track prep so I can get my ET down some more I'll be good to go. Here is my timeslip info:

Pass - 60' - 1/8 ET - MPH - 1/4 ET - MPH - Time - Notes (changes listed were made prior to pass)
1 - ????? - 9.507 - 90.10 - 14.155 - 113.52 - 6:34 - No slip 1st pass, this was 2nd, HL, CEL cooltemp 229*
2 - 2.551 - 9.666 - 89.57 - 14.330 - 113.06 - 6.51 - I raised the VE table a little before this one.
3 - 2.468 - 9.596 - 89.78 - 14.256 - 112.95 - 6:56 - HL
4 - 2.516 - 9.721 - 89.14 - 14.362 - 113.12 - 7:34 -
5 - 2.621 - 9.940 - 89.49 - 14.573 - 113.63 - 7:40 - CEL 3.9* of knock, spinning 1st & too much timing, HL
6 - 2.580 - 9.688 - 89.32 - 14.350 - 113.35 - 8:34 -

All of these passes were on E85, 20 psi of boost (still 14b), 24 psi tire pressure, burnout on passes 3-5, timing was 12-19* advanced, HL = hot lap
