I am trying to find the fuel pump test connector that is on the firewall of the 2g. My car is a 98 GST Spyder and according to all references, the test connector for all 2gs should be at the location shown circled in red. This photo is directly from the 2g engine bay electrical connectors guide on this page. That photo is from a 95 car.
My car absolutely does NOT have the black connector where it should be. It does have the blue two-wire connector that is shown in the second photo.
Please help me out here. I’ve searched high and low and every single reference says it should be there. It’s not. I’ve stripped the wire harness looking for this plug and have searched the engine bay. Not there. My car is old man stock and the wire wasn’t cut.
If there’s just no finding this plug, is there another way to jump test the fuel pump?
