I can readily get a certain map sensor that on its application from the factory runs in excess of 40psi. so here possess my question. As long as you have a 5 volt output what prevents us from using other oe map sensors other than gm map sensors for logging purposes? ie 5244-05058533 from a ford excursion diesel. If it is a scaling issue, I can easily determine at what pressure it gives out what voltage. How would I determine the scaling from those read outs?
