1G 1g transmission

Im wondering if a 91 fwd gst trans is compatible with a 94 n/a fwd car? It Should bolt up to engine seeing how they both are 4g63 engines but not sure about anything else. Thanks for the help in advance.

trans itself yes but there are other differences.

Yes. When my DSM was FWD I used a GST transmission on my GS car/engine for a while.

They are virtually identical, the main difference is the turbo cars have stronger and taller gears, so your highway cruising RPM should be lower when running a turbo trans in your GS.

Flywheel, starter plate, and clutch assembly all need to match the transmission being used.

I doubt it has it but if memory serves 93 94 turbo cars fwd axles were bigger. This probably doesn't apply to the NT car but you should look.

I thought it would work but wasn't sure. I knew they were taller gears vs na. A person is wanting to put my gst trans in a n/a car from 94. Don't want to sell

Non-turbo axles did not increase in size like the turbo axles. So in this situation, you'll be fine.
