I am running into a problem and was wondering if anyone could assist please.

I'm running a Macbook Air with these specs:

And with those specs I am unable to install any these drivers: (from https://www.ecmtuning.com/downloads.php)

It says the drivers are for 10.4+ and above, well I got that version 12.7.1 and it's not working at all..

There's a couple different files in that download, I click on each one & what happens when I do is I run into these messages:

This one looks like it's about to work:

then it gives me an error

if I install this on a Windows laptop it works fine

Even works fine on a Macbook Pro running macOS Sonoma 14.2

Now as a workaround I'm installing Parallels on this MacBook Air so I can run Windows on it & hopefully ECMLink will work that way

Update: Works well on Parallels

but it should work on the MacBook Air regardless so any tips/tricks would be appreciated.

Already posted this on the ECMLink forums just wondering if anyone here had this issue before

I saw your original post and wanted to help. I use a bootcamped windows 10 or the intel osx partition. This is on my 2017 intel based MacBook Pro.

I have a M1 MacBook Pro as well. If there is something you would like me to test for you, I can try Martin Luther king weekend.

With the air running an intel i5 it should just work?

I think the download should just work considering my stats but it’s not allowing me to install any sorta drivers on the MacBook Air - not unless I load windows 11 into it, then everything works fine.

I can confirm ECMLink works fine on the MacBook Pro I also have.

Its just real finicky on a MacBook Air but it shouldn’t be according to their site it should just work since I’m running a version above 10.4
