Does anyone any good shops that can weld in central NJ? I need the aluminum oil drain adapters welded on the turbo and on the oil pan. Also want to get rid of the neck down on my catback. What will be a good way to weld these things? I'm guessin MIG will do for the catback but maybe TIG for the turbo and oil pan?

I would tig the aluminum and mig the catback. Contact Brent @ JMF and i'm sure he'll take your job in for ya. Also, I don't think the neck down elim is really that necessary.

You need a steel fitting to weld to the steel oil pan. You can not weld aluminum to steel. I don't think welding the fitting to the turbo would work either. That being said, the welder will usually decide the best way to weld anything you bring them. Almost all my stuff I've had done has been tigged, and I prefer the cleaner look of tig to mig.

Anywhere closer Tom? I thought of JMFab at first but it's just a little bit too much of a drive.

They have a TIG welder at pride performance in keansburg now. They do really amazing work and they might be worth a shot.
