This is an interesting read on the history of Aisin from the company itself, they were once tied to Borg Warner and are a subsidiary of Toyota, strange that Toyota used the Mitsubishi engines in its forklifts and Mitsubishi used Aisin parts on their cars, we know that they made the oem waterpumps for the Dsm's and I have always suspected that they made the Automatic transmission also and maybe even the manual? I also though that they might have made the timing belt hydraulic assembly and possibly the clutch and brake master and slaves.
