When I press my clutch about 3/4 of the way down I can feel and hear a single click. Car shifts into gear fine, starts and all, but it does it when car is off as well. I'm going to grease up the assembly really well, but is their anything else I should be looking for? Clutch fluid is full, and I plan on changing it anyway.

There is a switch on the pedal and thats what you here. That switch wont allow you to start the car unless you put the clutch in. If you had and aftermarket chip in your car they will use that switch for some features. Its no big deal just normal stuff.

I went and used a greased/wd40 combo on the whole area it stopped for a while, came back(very breifly), and left again. It could just be an aging start/cruise switch as well as stated in the link. Thanks for the input.

Anyone have an opinion on this, I just started feeling this last night with my clutch. I don't remember the car doing it before. I think I know what click your talking about its much softer than what this guy and I am getting.

take a look at this thread too

Hey, that's my thread. :D I WD40'd it to death but didn't seem to help. The clutch start switch has a very very faint noise, and I doubt you could hear it driving (not to mention it would be constant). Mine is intermittent (only after the car is well warmed), and I just haven't gotten around to checking the spring.
