Bought this with a fidanza flywheel and the seller couldn’t tell me what I had.

I found the disk, I think but I’m having trouble finding what pressure plate this is here’s some pictures thanks everyone. I can’t tell what these numbers mean on the plate with the main serial numbers all scuffed up?

Here was my complete clutch and flywheel set I got. Any recommendations also other then help on the pressure plate?

Thank you but I will don’t know if it’s the heavy duty or one of the xtreme models because after those numbers it looks like there was a x there or you guys can tell from the numbers on the back off the pressure folks? It kind of driving me crazy I can’t see what letter that is LOL

Show me a side shot of the clutch "springs", the wavy things on the outside of the plate that connect it to the center. The number of "springs" is the difference in clamp force. 3 of them is a good clamp, 2 pretty good, 1 stock. 4 IDK. I used to look for remaned plates that had more springs for my small block chevy applications when I worked at a speed shop. They always had the heaviest clamp.
Food for thought to all..... ;)

The 2900 MAX is what it probably is. They have part number MB010XX on them.

EDIT: Actually it probably is a 3200 now that DSMPT mentioned it. There is enough space that theres probably 3 "x's" not just 2

The straps drive the pressure plate, they have NOTHING to do with the clamp. The diaphragm ONLY effects it.

It's at least a 2600 MB010X as it has the reinforcement welded into the top of it. Beyond that hard to tell. If it's a 2900 or a 3200 good luck making it work. You can have someone with a press and a good gauge compress it and see. Use a dial indicator to meausre the deflection and record the force every 0.025" Should see peak clamp somewhere around 0.10" deflection. Don't take it much past there. You'll see the force rise, then start falling off. Once it's fallen much, STOP.

Thanks everyone for the help ! I’ll upload those pictures soon 91awd talon ! Well I was going to maybe use it because of the price i got it for and the budget i am on right now. As long as I can make sure everything is in good running spec with life left in it I might just send it for now I have tons of other stuff I have to get too and the clutch was least of my worries to get her road worthy for the spring. But hey if it’s used and had been broken in maybe this one won’t fail ? Like the rest of the other ones I see failing on here ! I didn’t even clean them up yet. Once I’m done with getting my engine all fixed up too all of its needs I’ll debate on running this or not. I was hoping just to swap the flywheel plate with a new one and just get a new friction disk? maybe the pressure plate could possibly resurfaced then I’m only be about 400 into the flywheel and clutch after everything ? I’m thinking the flywheel is 400 alone so how bad can it be to throw it in and send it im coming from a quarter master that I absolutely hated I didn’t even get to take the car out for a spin around town with my old clutch set up. I just drove her home parked it in the garage and went to town on this car. worst comes the worst I’m hoping it will get me one summer but hey time will tell! I got to upload all the pics of my build and hopefully finish everything else up before march!

Thanks for this! I’m definitely going to do that this week!

Im sure it will “work” but the fact of having to drop a trans on my back to install a used part just doesnt make sense for me. But hey maybe you have a hoist.
Hey first dsm I’m ripping apart and building it for some fun! Don’t mind doing the work and I do have the access to a lift if needed and got a hoist and all so far I’m making this a good learning experience. After my 2nd engine pull on my 300zx I was able to rip it out and get her running again the same day but these things are just a whole different animal and so far a lot lighter and easier then that crammed up P.0.S

That's cool, man. You've got some time to figure it out and make a decision.

Think about how you'll be primarily using the car. Come up with goals and write that shit down. Lock in a proven combo and DO NOT just start shot gunning parts at it. You'll end up insanely over budget, and very disappointed with the results.

Take your time, research your ass off and it'll pay off.

🤘🤙
