Ultrasonic cleaner

Anyone cleaned lifters and rockers in a ultrasonic cleaner? Any other small parts?

I have not cleaned lifters and rockers specifically, but I have cleaned many other parts in an ultrasonic with excellent results. Using the right cleaning solution for a specific task is key. The ultrasonic just takes it to another level and thoroughly cleans all the inner parts that can be impossible to reach any other way.

What would you use for lifters?

Purple power extreme?

I’ve used diluted purple degreaser on steel parts and they came out great. Of course with lifters you’ll want to make sure they’re thoroughly flushed out after to remove any debris that may have come loose inside.

The best way to clean lifters is to soak them in gasoline. I use ultra sonic cleaners to clean injectors.

I use one all the time on transmission parts, Master Stages Cleaner2020 is by the far the best solution I've used.

Small parts you can put in gas inside a peanut butter jar and put the whole jar in the cleaner.
