thankx guys

That's where the tcase bolts up. As long as the bolt still threads into the hole there. You shouldn't have any problems. Mine was like that before I put it in my car too. No worries!!

when i took off the t case that bolt wasnt there already,
as for the bolt torgue, will i be ok or i showld take it light on that one bolt.
where can i get the bolts for the t case, dealer? any vendor?

and thanks

I've got a spare one I can send you. I can't remember if that's a short one or long one. PM me your address and I can send one of each to you. Maybe just pay for shipping.

oh that would be great well tomroow im going to a friends junk yeard that its got some gsx and im going to see if i can recover some bolts or even the tranny bell housing, but i will be in touch with you and thankx for your time.

Just so you know... You can't just swap out bell housings on these transmissions without tearing the whole thing apart. It's not like a Ford with a removeable bell housing. It requires a full teardown and shimming the preloads on the bearings for the new case. It's a lot of work.

well i went there today and i did get all the bolts for the t case and they do have a bell housing that i might go back and pick.
i will try to screw it on and find out if ill get away with it or if i need to retap the hole.

also if any one can help me find out ### lines this are?

as i plan on removing the fuel feel and return and replace them with ss line, im kinda lost on ### lines wich are becouse i see another line.

<a href='http://img16.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0314d.jpg'><img src='http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/8058/img0314d.jpg' border='0' alt='Image Hosted by ImageShack.us'/></a>

so i think and know #1 is where the ond fuel filt was wich means its the fuel feed line
#2 i have no idea, its been ther ever sens i can remember and never cared for it but now im wondering
#3 i think its the fuel return line that goes from the fpr back to the tank.

so can i completly remove 1 and 3 line and replace them with ss? ill rather remove the old ones and not leave them there.
again thanks for every one help.

Load up a bigger picture. I'm not as familiar with the 2g's as I am with the 1g's. But, I could probably figure it out just by seeing it in a larger picture.

HERE MORE IMAGES OFF THE LINE IM TALKING ABOUT ITS NOT THE FUEL FEED ITS THE SMALLER UNDER.

I believe it's the vent line that comes from the fuel tank and goes to the charcoal canister. I would just cap it if you have removed the CC. Or remove the line and cap it at the tank.

i had some time, and i followd the line all the way back and it is the fuel tank vent.

now what i was thinking is, remove it all the way back to the fuel sending unit and on the back out side off the fuel tank, do what "snowborder" said but have a small filter on it so no dirt can get in it.

is this something that can be done, and not run in to problems in the future related to it?

well sens im doing all my lines and cleaning up the bay i want to have it as clean as i can, maybe ill end up puting a filter on it so it looks clean and not just another open line.

but if any one has images of the way they did there's if they have done anything difrent from what snowborder said post up please.

and thanks snowborder and every one.
