This is probley asnswered somewhere already, but here goes anyway...

I just bought a whole turbo setup off an Evo III turbo/mainfold/o2. Everything is facing the opposite way from how the 2g setup is. Can i just flip everything? Will i have any issues installing this whole setup?

Thanks alot!!

Evo III turbo is a 16G turbo which would face the "normal" DSM direction - passenger side. The turbo you have sounds like it's off a later Evo 8. It won't work. :|

You have a non turbo, so you would probably have better luck reading up on the N/T conversion threads.

He drives an NT which is a 420A chrysler motor.

To original topic, no, you just can't "flip" it. The motor that manifold and turbo came off of is a completely different engine than your 420A.

Search in the NT forums to see how most conversions are done.

No it is for my other car 95 gst. So what can or should i do?

Sounds like you got the wrong turbo. Can you post some pics of it?
I am trying to get it to fit, but it keeps saying that it is oversized and that i am exceeding some quota. I could send it to your e-mail if you want

post them on photobucket then you can post them here without worrying about that size. also if everything looks backwards then its probubly the evoVIII and in those their engines are all backwards

Hope these work! But i am positive i have the evo vIII setup. Anyone know how i can get this to work?

The best way to make that work is to sell it on ebay and then buy the right setup. Sorry but theres no way to make this work

That is the EVO VIII, it is not just a direct bolt on. It would require to have a custom downpipe made, custom intercooler piping, custom oil and water lines, and probally custom intake pipe. It would be a lot of work but it can be done. Your better off selling that and getting an Evo 3 with a 2g install kit.

Yea, i bought it from here. I guess he forgot to put the V in front of the III. Hey thanks for the input. Do you think i can use the manifold?
