i got a 97 gsx after everytime i drive it my boot around the transmission leaks some sort of fluid im guessing its transmission fluid.... idk why
anyone know how i can stop it or figure out why its leaking... only does it after i drive it!
i just changed my transmission fluid about 4 days ago? could it be that i put to much fluid?

Yes. How much gear oil did you put in? Did you actually measure the amount?????

The transmission and transfer case both get filled up to the fill hole and should be slightly weeping out when filled properly to the required level. If alot is pouring out from the fill plug, let it drain out until it is level with the fill plug hole. Mind you, the car should be on a level surface or jacked up level with 4 jackstands to do this.

If the problem persists, then I would still pull the trans and figure out where the problem is coming from.
