Checked the throttle cable and its so loose its almost falling off so i dont believe thats it. The IAC is almost brand new so i doubt thats it (although there is a small crack in it from being over tightened, could that be an issue?) Fairly sure no boost leaks but i will double check on that...

I know there are a bunch of threads covering idle surge but I've tried a bunch of different suggested fixes and nothing has worked. The car started surging right as it gets warm and switches off from cold idle. So already the IAC motor has been replaced with a brand new one, checked for vacuum...

I checked the ISC, only the 1 to 2 pins didn't show a reading. Would that be enough to warrant finding a new one?

Hi, I'm having problems with my 98 6 bolt swapped gst. I've had the car for about 2 years and since the day i bought it the idle has been not working correctly. Once the car gets warm the idle jumps around from about 2500-1500 RPMs and will never sit still. More recently it will idle at about 4k...

So my car has a 6bolt swap and i noticed the other day that the idle speed sensor is missing the wire thats supposed to be connected to it. I havent looked into it much as i dont know much about dsms yet. Can anyone tell me where the wire should be coming from or link me to a wiring guide? Thanks!
