there is nothing here, so i will start it.

I dont mind it, its easier than remembering it.
also, on the passenger side it makes the most Perfect spot to stick my biggie coke from wendys

It makes sure that I'm wearing my seatbelt when I'm too drunk to think about things like that.

Worst part is that it lets you forget about the lap belt.

Or the times you actually remember the lap belt...until you get out of your car and look like a jackass as you go to fly out of your car (at 6'6" I can't "slowly" stand up its all or none) and gut yourself back in the seat and shove your bladder into your spine. :thumbdown

Forgetting the lap belt is on is the worst... that shit happened in front of a girl I was with one time... she just laughed... until she got up and got yanked back by her belt.

I know what you mean, the exact same thing happened to my gf when she laughed at me...karma's a bi***. :thumb:

sorry guys, i tried to start this thread but it took forever so I just "x" out.
i was referring to the fact that my seatbelt never rolls back up after i unbuckle it juss dangles. you can either force feed it back in the slot, of slam your door on the belt.
sorry about the first post.

EDIT you are all americans, we have different seat belts.
i was thinking hmm i dont know how i could forget my lap belt.

thats why i replaced both of mine with 5 point harnesses... only thing that sucks aobut that is looking over my shoulder to check blind spots and trying to get somethign out of the glove compartment

*shrug*

i hate the american version of those belts, i always bust my head on it because i try to get out of the car to quick. LOL. i want to switch it over to the canadian counterpart but dont know if i will be able to find the parts. oh well, it looks like a 5 pt race harness for me. :thumb:

What sucks worse is when you are in the car and the shoulder belt has slid back into place, and then you open the door and lean out to look at something and then the belt slides forward and wraps around the back of your neck and strangles you because your first instinct is to pull your head in the car and that allows the belt to slide backwards and wrap around the front your neck thus strangling you to death.:barf:

I honestly don't struggle with it... I guess I did once, as I did when learning to drive a clutch... Don't worry, as you get more seat time, you learn.:thumb:

what does your automatic seatbelt strangling you have to do with learning to drive a 5 speed? being that i have driven a 5 speed since i got my license, i am sure i have had enough seat time now that i am 21.

btw, i have strangled myself a few times in that thing from leaning out of the car to pick up food from the drive through or opening the door to scan my id to let me in my employee parking lot. it sucks!

Noone else puts their biggie coke tween the strap and the side support on the passenge seat?

tell me, wherelese are you putting your biggie coke!!!!

I don't mind my seatbelt at all. I like them but my passenger one stopped working last week. Before it stopped all the way, it use to blip on and off. I about strangled my girlfriend with it. :shhh: oops!

I like the auto belt in terms of im lazy and dont like doing extra work, it sucks balls though when you get out quick and a. either smack your head on it, or b. it wraps around your throat and chokes ya

if you have a 1g, you may look into the recall with the passenger side belt. :) i believe that recalls are good for life even if they have been done before when it involves safety. :) take em for what you can!

Easy killer

I put mine there too. Whats up with so many freakin sports cars not having cupholders?

My Z didnt have them either. We used the same technique too. It is officially called the 'drink cubby' in the Z forums. Ask, and all will know. :D

Ah, which reminds me of the times it's drilled me RIGHT IN THE KIDNEY just as you're standing up- oo, what lovely effing agony.

i always get my passengers to hold my drink. if theres no passenger i put it on my lap. but ill try that strap and side suppport to see if it works good next time i get my car running.
