i honestly dont feel like paying 100$+ for an intake if i can just make one myself. Ive been looking and there are only instructions and stuff for the 4g63. Now i could do all the measurements and shit myself, but i really really dont trust my craftsmanship. if anyone knows where there is a write up or something for a CAI or ram air for N/Ts. or maybe if someone has a really good picture of an aftermarket one i suppose...
the only real problem is figuring out the size of the 90 degree bend so it doesnt futz around with the battery.

um. I don't see the hassle of making your own. Ebay has CAI for like 40 shipped. And Ram Air for around 28 shipped.

He's right.

A pipe is a pipe. If you can find one that wraps from the TB down to next to the ECU, just buy an aftermarket air filter for $10 and bolt it on. They come with worm clamps for a sealed suction.... Should take you less than 10 minutes with all materials prepped to go..

If you dont trust your craftsmanship then why are you going to attempt to make one?
