Ok I've had my car running really good for a month or so...and today I was going pretty fast and like a millisecond before I let off the throttle I noticed my throttle dropped. So I pull off to the side of the highway, and let my car sit....then I try driving it and it drives like I don't have my MAF connected. I don't think anything could have disconnected, and I think it might be fuel related. I zeroed out my safc while running 550's and my car ran exaclty the same...so I'm thinking either injectors, fuel filter, or pump.... I can't get past 45 miles an hour. Yes I checked for blown off intercooler piping, and also I can't hear any hissing so I have no idea. I also checked for oil immediatly or if I threw a rod or something but no oil leaks, no ticking, no knock....I"m lost any suggestions would be helpful

yeah the check engine light is on, I have to reload all the program for my palm I"ll try and update it in a few minutes

alrigth got the palm working here are all of the codes...
P1104:
Turbo Charger Wastegate
P1105 Fuel pressure solenoid malfunction <Mitubishi 2.0L Engine (Turbo)>
P0115:
Engine Colant Temperature CIrcuit

I have an external wastegate if that means anything....

well I just looked at that picture.....and I"ve never had anything plugged into that since I did my 6 bolt swap...I included a picture...let me know if were on the same basis

That looks like your P0115. I could be in the completely wrong place under the hood, but that looks like the coolant temp sensor on the thermostat housing. Look for the plug and get rid of that code for starters.

the plug that goes there should be bundled on the same part of your wiring harness as the O2 and that other plug in the picture. It is a black connector with two spade type connectors in the shape of a "T"

I bet you have a burnt valve. You just got done running hard, you have a faulty coolant temp causing the car to run rich in the first place, causing detonation, causing...BAM!
Don't get me wrong it may be something simple like a bad injector but that would cause a very obvious misfire, whereas a burnt valve will just cause lower compression.
Did you ever notice the CTS was disconnected?

It's the 6 P's Proper preparation prevents piss poor performance.

the car has been running rich not lean, and I just did a compression test and it was 145-144-145-142 so I"m pretty sure everything is alright there.....the motor isn't knocking or anything and the car has been running perfect before 4 days ago and I havn't driven it at all so I'm pretty sure I didn't "burn" a valve

I cannot find the plug, are there 3 sensors on a 2g thermostat housing? becuase I have 3 sensors and a vaccum sensor that goes to the throttle body, or egr that I have blocked off, so I eliminated that one.....but I just can't seem to find that damn plug anywhere? can any of you guys with a 2g help me out thanks

anyone know the part # for the fuel pressure solenoid?
my local mistu dealer told me " i dunno its not in the computer sorry man"
?????
