So i went to the track today. And on the second run down the track the car died about half way. I coasted to the end of the track and pulled over and popped the hood hoping to see a intercooler pipe off. Well i couldnt find anything wrong so i tried to start it. It would jump to 900 rpms and die out. After about 15 min of cranking it finally started. I drove it about 300 yards and it died out again. Same thing happened again after cranking on it and it finally started and died out about 30 sec of running fine. Now it wont start at all and i had to get it towed home. Its getting spark and its gettin fuel. I talked to someone that has alot of knowledge on dsms and he said it could be a relay befind in radio. Anyone know what the possible problem could be.WTF

There was no intercooler pipe off. I was hoping that was the problem.

I have no idea what you just tried to say. Read what you type before you post it. :thumb:

Anyone know anything about theses relays behind the radio on the right side. I think ones for the ignition and im not sure what the other one is. Somone said that might be my problem

Anyone. Im gettin a little closer to the problem. It doesnt get spark all the time. And it not the coil pack i checked it with one that i know works.

clutch switch.....I know its a long shot but a buddy of mine just had his die on him while driving it and he just sat and played with stuff, unplugged the clutch switch and it started and ran fine. Like I said its a long shot but its worth a shot.

if it has fuel and spark it has to be compression. Have you checked your timing? Do your spark plugs have fuel on them after you crank it?

Sounds like the timing belt skipped/jumped. Or else ECU related.

I'm thinking it's about 80% chance that it's one of those two. Probably timing.

When was the timing belt done last? Was everything in there done? You still have Balance Shafts?

I think if it were ecu related it would have effected fuel and or spark and if it has both it has to be compression

I checked the timing.. Its fine. Its not gettin spark. I was wrong . It only gets spark sometimes. It pretends to start and bogs for 2 secs and just dies.

in that case it is probably ecu related. Check out your computer and see if there is any burn marks or anything on the inside

Does anyone know anything about the 2 relays behind the radio? I talked to someone that said thats ###### my problem

know anyone that has a turbo dsm that would let you borrow their ecu and see if that is the problem? If it is I smell eprom coming.
