I want to throw some Eibach Pro springs on my 2g awd. Just for looks, get rid of some wheel gap. I dont feel like buying new shocks or camber kits, just want it a bit lower. Comments? Thanks. :talon:

I meant to be asking if there were any negative effects of the Pro kit? Being only 1.3in drop, I wouldnt expect to blow a strut, or have terrible camber...right? Thanks. :talon:

if you wanted to be safe, you could get the tokico hp shock and spring package. Not expensive at all. I have them on my car and it sits just right and handles perfectly. I think the shock/spring package is around $300 if i remember correctly. Also a camber kit is worth the money. They don't cost that much and you save a lot of money on tires. :thumb:

Thanks for the quick responses guys. :thumb: Ill continue my search for some suspension upgrades, and definitely check out those Tokico's. :talon:

I have Eibach Pro with KYB AGX's. For the springs I did not need a camber kit what so ever, just an alignment. The general rule I have always been told when it comes to suspension is that if the drop is going to be around 2" then you would definately need a camber kit. But, keep in mind that with springs and FWD vs. AWD the drop is going to definately differ. Meaning, you are going to get different drop numbers between people who have the Pro Kit and FWD cars compared to AWD.

Do yourself a favor and get camber kits just to be safe. Afterall both can be had for under $200. Far less than the two sets of tires I've had to purchase this year.
Yea but you also have a FWD car so your lowering height is higher.

Is that so. I did not know that.

Just to Be Safe
.... I have a 95 GSX and have the same springs he is looking into and I DO NOT NEED a camber kit. Have had the suspension on for almost a year now with no uneven wear on the tread, thank you very much :D .

I know what you have. I learned to read sometime ago. Apparently you did not. Just to be safe, just in case, as a precautionary measure, do any of those mean anything to you?

I never said he would NEED one. Thanks for playing though.

Also, to the original poster, shocks would be a good idea at the least if you decide to not get the camber kit. I don't imagine your stockers would last too long. Inside of a year probably.

For you non-belivers I refer you to CanadianTSi's post. Since I'm N/A and don't know what I'm talking aboot. J/K Canadian :p

Apparently you can't read....he said he DID NOT want to spend money on a camber kit

I win, what's the prize?

He also said he did not want to spend money on shocks, but I was suggesting what I felt would work best. If he doesn't take my suggestion fine. I won't lose any sleep. Just like I won't lose any sleep over some girl on the internet trying to make me look like I don't know what I'm talking about.

Nope, you still lose.

Well I am glad you can point that out and go completely off topic. I will be the mature one and not respond to that comment with more negativity. But back onto topic...

Did you figure out what spring set up you wanted to go with?

not hijacking, slightly off topic... but just wanted to know if anyone has tried Skunk2 springs. I can get a brand new set reaaallllyyyyy cheap. Like free cheap! I want to lower my spyder 1.5"
