2G 95-96 Turbo LICP silencer removal

So if you're like me, you want more power for cheap.

FREE MOD TIME

So jack up your 95-96 Talon/Eclipse and look directly under your coolant resivoir. Should see a black box that your LICP is going into.

Unscrew the clamps on both sides of the STOCK LICP where the box connects. Take the clamp off the I/C as well becaues you can't get the silencer off without taking the little piece of hose off first.

Take the silencer off and kick it a few times for being a piece of shit. Now you have a gap between the two rubber pieces of LICP. What I did was take a 90 degree mandrel bend and cut it towards the bend with a saw. One side is ribbed already so just bang out the smooth side with a hammer or something. Install your new straight piece where the silencer was and clamp it down.

Cheap, easy and effective! I noticed accurate boost readings on my boost gauge, improved spoolup and just more fun driving :)

Happy boosting!
