Now you guys know how everybody in the world felt when the original Z hit.

We couldn't damn believe it. It was so goddamned beautiful, and at the time with its "mere" 150hp it never held anybody up. The only holdups were at the Datsun dealers where they were getting whatever they wanted to charge for them.

As time went on, and they got into the hands of the unclean, it became only more apparent just what a good design it was. The L-series motors were one of the first SOHC designs to not have cam troubles (such as the Pinto engine did), and the bottom-ends were built like ship guts.

It was quite a day. Of course, the smog liars took the fun out of it, and before fuel injection overtook everything, we had stumblers like the squaretop SU-Hitachis. And, like so many of the attractive in America, it soon got fat.

But those early days....

The Nissan Titan V8 is a 5.6 DOHC 32v. Its rated at 305hp and 379tq stock but even stock is way underrated(dyno'ed at 270rwhp with an auto tranny). That car is crazy.

That car is just so beautiful. Ive looked at the pictures about 40 times.

That car is soooo nice.
