After a 10 hour gauge/bezel install (including some trick soldering and trying to make it really neat, be quiet...), using these instructions, i have decided to post a tip for those frustrated with finding the F#$(ing speedometer cable to run through the firewall.
i dont know where it is. that doesnt matter. use a screwdriver to poke a hole through the boot of the steering column, and thread the vacuum hose through there taped to a coat hanger. Pull up from engine bay and it is conveniently next to the tap you make. thanks to Amos for this tip after 1.5 hours of searching
