i know this probaly has been posted before so sry to u people who dont like seeing repost's. but this is starting to get annoying... a while ago i noticed a drop in my GS-T's exceleration i didnt pay much attention to it but now its getting to point where im getting beat by SOHC civic's and if thats not enough i lost to my friend's 93 Accord EX with a basic H22A Swap.. at first i thought it might of been the SMIC because i hydroed and hit a curb and messed up the IC so i replased it. but now it feels like there no boost being deliverd i've checked the basic places for boost leak like the B.O.V., SMIC, and holes in the hoses... the turbo's spooling and im pushing 12-13Psi.. the car's stock ecsept for a knock off Type S B.O.V. so can yall help me please??

thx :dsm:

yea it's realy bad and from time to time ill give it some gas the turbo will spool but the Rpm's go hi and the car dosent seem to be getting any pull.. it fells like its costing

If it is boosting the way you say (I'm guessing you have a boost gauge), it's probably the clutch slipping. Clutch slippage usually first appears in the highest gear first and then works it's way down. Try going into 5th and then gunnin it and see if the RPMs jump. Be safe though.

well if it is the clutch should i spend the $$$ go with the oem replacment clutch or get a after market one like a ACT2600 and witch one should i go with if i get a aftermarket one the 4puck, 6puck, or street clutch kit from Extreme PSI

Extreme PSI Clutch's

hey guys i think i have the same problem, when im driving on the hwy and im in 4 gear and i want to pass a car ,the car boost ok around 16psi ,BUT the car is not going forward at all its like its bogging or something,i have to DS in 3 gear and gun it to pass the car ,and it does that in 5 gear HELP PLEASE...LOL

Sorry for my english im mosly french..thanks:D

Depending on how far you wanna take your car will determine what clutch is suitable for you. Most people here will never really need anything more than an ACT 2100 street disc. Most people go overboard and break their shift forks and/or trannys due to stronger clutchs and lack of experience launching. This is most common in AWDs. I'm runnin a Quartermaster twin disc one of mine but that's because my setup is far from stock.
