I am selling the custom intake manifold that I had made for my 2G GSX. It was fabricated by a guy I know, who at the time, was running a performance shop here in Phoenix. The name of his shop was Street or Strip Concept, as you can see on the top side of the manifold in he pictures. Unfortunately, the whole COVID ordeal killed his business and he had to close shop a few years back. I can tell everybody that they guy knew his stuff, and was a very skilled welder as well, so I can assure you that this manifold is solid! He had fabricated it for me when I was planning on shooting for around 400-450hp, which this intake manifold will easily allow for. However, I have since decided to go for quite a bit more horsepower than that, so I needed to upgrade my intake manifold even further than this one. That is why I'm selling this intake manifold.
This manifold has been powdercoated a flat black. It has a nice, large plenum. The runners are 2" around at the plenum, and they don't taper down to a smaller size, but they become more oblong by the time the runners meet the manifold plate, where they match the 2G head intake ports akmost perfectly. I do realize that everybody likes to upgrade to the 1G head for the larger ports, but this intake manifold upgrade will work great for anywhere from stock hp, all the way up to around the 450hp range, and will greatly increase the amount of air flowing to the head, even with keeping the smaller 2G head ports. The throttle body plate will accept any throttle body that would fit on a stock intake manifold, from the stock 2G throttle body, all the way up to the 74mm S90 Throttle Body. So basically, whatever throttle body you have will work, as long as it's not larger than the 74mm S90. It also has an added vacuum port plate on the back side of the manifold.
This intake manifold will make a really nice upgrade for anybody with a 2G who is wanting to get some good horsepower gains, without having do drop a whole bunch of money. I also realize that a lot of people will tend to shy away from aftermarket parts that are made from vendors that they are not at all familiar with. This is why I am only asking $125.00 plus shipping cost for this manifold, even though that is literally about 1/4 of the amount I paid for it. Also, I do prefer to do these kinds of transactions through PayPal, just because it helps protect both you, the buyer, and I, with these kinds of sales.
