- Background
- I fell in love with the 2gb eclipse model when I was maybe 4 years old. My grandfather had a 98 GS and it was my favorite car ever. I still remember the days of going to visit my family in Utica, NY and asking my dedo to take me for a ride in his "ekips". That poor GS probably got junked back before the 2010's. Luckily my dedo (grandfather) is still alive and he got to see me buy my own eclipse, which I am forever grateful for. I always wanted an eclipse and I was sure it was going to be my first car. It never was (lol). In the summer of 2023, I got this car from the original owner. The goal is to to bring back the memories of my childhood, along with a touch of my personality when it comes to cars. I don't plan on making this car a track or straight line beast. Just something that I can maintain and that will hopefully start every time I want to go for a ride #savetheeclipse . I am never selling it, nor do I ever intend to, this will be with me until I am no longer walking this green earth. I hope this car will inspire people to look past the "clout" of the car scene that we see now. This is a dream of mine that I have been waiting to fulfill since I could barley even pronounce "eclipse".
