So last night I was watching a youtube video of some guy pull a 4g63. Well he got to the oil pan and when removing it he mentioned there were two short bolts and they MUST go in 2 certain holes or they will interfere with the timing belt.
Well I had replaced my pan gasket about a week ago (car hasn't run yet thankfully) and realized I had paid no attention to this and probably put the wrong bolts in the wrong holes.
Just for reference here are the correct locations for the short bolts :
Well I had already put all the bolts back and really didn't want to pull them all back off.
Here's a trick to tell which are the short ones:
The short bolt is on the left and has a slightly smaller head than the longer ones.
Here they are again, its a little hard to tell but the short bolts have a different sized "seven" on its head as well. The short are again on the left.
Anyway hope this helps someone in a situation like mine.
