is merced considered fresno area

sorry for posting a dumb question but i live in merced and was wondering if its considered fresno area since its the central valley and its not too far.

I would say Merced is more consider nor cal. Basically anything north of 152 highway is nor cal in my book. I guess it depends on people perspective.

Oh i see but it sucks because fresno is the closest to merced the other places like sac and the bay are to far should be a central cal region ill stick to fresno for now. If yall dont mind. Thanks for the info.

So if Merced is Nor Cal, would that mean Los Banos is as well? I'm basically smack in the middle between everything. Haha!
