Anyone rebuild transmissions near Middletown Ny?

wassup guys my trans went on me this morning and i cant push my car more than about 4 feet without it locking up on me. i was going to take it to aamco to get it checked out but my friend told me to check on here first because i can most likely get it rebuilt by someone else stronger & not as costly. my current location is Middletown Ny.
