Just bought a 1993 Evo GSR and the previous owner has the front diff all torn apart saying the FWD kept jumping in and out. Curious whether i should put it back together to confirm is diagnosis or if there is a common issue with the viscous units in these diffs that I should just replace? Also any leads of parts for Evo ones appreciated!

For parts look at jacks transmission. Bought from them a few times, no hassel no fuss, decently quick shipping.
Your best be is to thoroughly search the EVO forums for the issue and if you don't find anything on it, inspect the centre diff referencing mitsu spec's and try putting it back together to test it worst case scenario you have to pull it apart again. But more then likely if you do a thorough inspection you'll find any issue there is to find.

Look through it, not worth the hassle of putting it in and out twice! Check it down right the first time!
