I still would have responded to the kid who was running 13s with some wise-ass comments."All I need is a boost controller and I am running mid 13s."Or..."You never seen the back of one? DSM Shootout, be there, 100s of people will be happy to let you gaze longingly at their asses as they...
Hopefully the next modification they send him is a cup of bleach for him to drink. Piece of crap boost controller, there are threads here dedicated to how crappy that boost controller is...
You clearly miss the point. He thinks all the functional pieces on my car are rice, from when I was building a time attack car (a la Andrew Brilliant inspired minus the better budget). Yet he hasnt done anything with a DSM.
Okay, I see now, you resolved the issue where the fork was pushed to the passenger side. Whatever you do stay away from an extended rod. I think you should get an OEM slave and see what happens.
I don't know man, I just can't see how the issue could be resolved than come back...I really feel like something is going with the slave here, like it's extended too much.
My car dyno'd over 600 to the wheels. On my own build. My own tune.I also turned a Spyder GS into an AWD 2.4L turbocharged monster. What have you done?
...we will pretend you didn't say this and that you are going out there with a buddy to have him press and release the clutch while you watch the pulley to see for visible movement, which you should have if it is eating up a CPS.
You realize the gearing in the 4G64 is different (and weaker) and that you are robbing yourself of power, right? Did you happen to change the slave when you changed this transmission?
So this tells me that the starter is requiring more juice to start...so I would be checking for voltage drop at the starter and then determining where the extra resistance is coming from, if there is any.
Something like 91.3% of all crankwalked cars were white.I made that stat up. Just like every other stat mentioned in this thread about crankwalk. Also, a sensor can just...go bad. Check for play, no point in speculating.
I don't know who to shake my head at more...the idiot who told you that, or you for believing it when the resources to find out what the maximum and minimum width for a specific size wheel can be found online easily.Oh, and factory 2GB GSX wheels are 17 x 7, and came with 215s from factory.
215 tires are not stretched for a 7 inch wide wheel. Whatchu talkin about Willis? The recommended minimum width for an 8 inch wide wheel is 215....so how can 215 be stretched on a 7 inch wheel?
Got what you deserved. Most of us haven't forgotten your attitude in previous posts and all the dumb things you say and now apparently the dumb decisions you make. Please leave the DSM world, we have no need for people like you representing us.
275 hp goals off a 16G...this is like buying Magnum condoms in front of a girl and then asking her if she has some extra tampons to fill it out for you.
I don't mean this offensively, but I highly doubt someone with such a limited budget and perceived lack of experience in doing this, is going to have the tools and know-how to cut up the rear of that car and get everything mounted up and welded in properly. Please don't tell me you think this...
Stop. Posting. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that people are talking about cheap China made products and not legitimate products purchased on eBay for less money.
After reading some of Whiplash's other posts it's clear that after being here for 9 years he is still just as clueless about DSMs and wrenching as he was the day he was born.
This misses another important point...just because you don't need the bells and whistles, doesn't mean you should purchase blatant knock-offs from some Chinabay distributor and further push away the companies who actually innovated, researched and developed the originals only to have their...
