The length on the bolt sleeve for the trans mount is too long to slide into the bracket. The sleeve from the stock one is too small around to fill the prothane mount, but naturally the length fine. Is there any reason I just can't cut the sleeve down to the proper length? The inside diameters...
Has anyone used a 2g 5 speed AWD starter on an auto AWD 2g? As far as I know, the only difference is the gear length. Would there be any issues with the extended gear, has anyone done this?

This is my first auto DSM and I don't know much about automatics. It's a 1G N/T Auto.When coming to a stop, the shift from 2-1 is really rough. It kind of slams into gear and makes a pretty bad sound. What kinds of things can cause this?
