What are you puttin on there? I went with a retro pattern and it’s okIs that a gst or a gsx? Prolly the only model/color I’d drop everything to get, hope it turns out nice

Well it’s ECU controlled, I remember reading that you can safely run it without the (green?) wire that signals it to charge- you’ll have to look it up, I forget the color. Obviously if its consistent after that you might want to have the ecu checked.lt still could be a faulty Alt though...
Drill out the fuel siphon;https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/fuel-tank-siphon.522741/Unless your regulator is bad, it should def increase while adjusting clockwise. If thats the case as well then it sounds like you need a new one
Typical, person finds completely stock dsm and immediately mods it, yet neglects to repair the oil leak and likely skipped other maintenance lol. I’m probably just being jealous, if in fact it was a legitimate sale to a stranger for $39k-
Came across this when I did mine, although I still used the supplied parts. You will definitely love it, it truly is the best of both worlds to be able to cruise around in a stock-quiet car so the neighbors don’t hate yah, then opening it when you want, gl with the fab work
There are so many points in that area that it could be, so it’s tough to tell from pics. I’d suggest a coolant pressure tester. You can buy em almost anywhere now, possibly rent too(?). It’s extremely helpful in situations like yours.
Negative on the spare, I must’ve used it on on another car- although if you want to hook it up another way you can use this in the picture. Available at any hardware store, it will slide on but won’t have the retaining clip that the original connector had, so it may fall off while driving.
It’s almost a T-slotted clip that retains itself over the gauge sending unit fitting(circled in green per dsmpt’s post). Best pic I could find for now. The pigtail means it has the appropriate clip and enough wire in the harness to tap into your existing wire to complete the original circuit.
I like to put a 1/2” ratchet on the crank, if it doesn’t feel smooth installing the trans I spin the crank a small amount and try again. This usually works for me. I also have used a longer than stock trans bolt to help align before going all the way in as a guide, once its seated I replace it...
Iirc it’s an anti-siphon unit. it prevents anyone from sticking a hose into the tank to drain it/siphon fuel from you. I’m sure this part is shared through multiple mitsubishis/eagles, if anyone has the part number for it then you should be able to find it used pretty easily as they are not...
The one you have is a little more rare than the plain one, should be easy to find someone to trade if you post an ad. Also it looks like you’ll have to drill out a bolt on the exhaust manifold if you plan on installing a heat shield 👎. IIrc there was a heat shield listed in the classifieds a...
You have spark and fuel if I’m reading this right. Also you’ve replaced the CAS after it didn’t start? You may have simply installed it 180* out. I’d suggest removing it, spin the input the opposite way and then re-install. If it starts use a timing light to make sure you have it adjusted properly
Chris do you receive a percentage of sales from either the decals or the calenders? I’d rather direct my money your way if I can.^ That is a gorgeous color well done
Bizarre, have the same setup cept manual. No issues between harnesses/auto. Your only difference is awd to fwd for the fuel pump harness. You have a gst with awd swap, verify your harness looks like the pic- taken from:

It’s not like a splined belt that guides itself in along the grooves. All the surface area of the drive side of the belt is slapping the surface of each tooth on the cam and crank. Same reason why dog boxes with straight cut gears are much more audible, they whine due to the contact. Then again...
If your referring to the noise throughout the video thats just the belt, it’s much more pronounced with all the covers off. I can hear a faint bearing noise after a few seconds that goes away. Idk if you reused an old tensioner or not. Maybe I keep my belt too tight but mine always sound like this.
https://americancollectors.com is who I went through, I can send you the name of the woman who signed me, she can lay out the costs of varying options. For me I chose the (cheapest get me on the road option). Mainly a recreational vehicle when the weather suits it. ie- not a daily driver. I can...
I’ve always bench tested cps sensors by measuring resistance across the pins. If it has some it’s good, if theres no reading it’s bad. Idk if it’s proper, but I’ve never had an issue with this method, and it sure saves time since you can just unplug the connector and measure it without removing...
Oil cap gasket is probably hardened, feel if it’s soft with your fingernail, it should squish a little bit, if it’s hard then it’s bad. There’s no oil inside the spark plug wells right? Boost leak test is always a good idea, I’d swap the plugs with new ngk bpr6es and add the line back on the...
You wouldn’t get readings that high with bent valves ever. You might’ve burned em a bit and reduced sealing but it sounds like you will have to remove the head and inspect the gasket. I would suggest decking the head, new headgasket, and cleaning up the valves. My $.02 anyways
Oh ok well then you’ll need to verify it’s all ducted properly. all the airflow has to be directed properly to go where it’s needed. Look and see if you have any shrouding/that directs and seals incoming air into the radiator.IMO A/C delete is weird. I LOVE my AC on those hot days and...
Both fans should be checked for function, I looked for your vehicle profile and couldn’t find it, but Im still getting used to this setup on tuners. Do you have a large front mount intercooler? If not, check for bent fins in the radiator and check for any obstructions.
Cruise is easy but...
