I converted mine to manual windows and trust me.... you really dont save that much weightThe window motor which weighs about 2-3 lbs is all you loseAsk yourself if sourcing the door panels, window tracks and lever for 6lbs is worth it
I used an RCI 10gal Fuel Cell with Sender using 2x044 pumpsI cut out the trunk area and used an aluminum sheet like above to hold itHad a local fab shop weld a 1.5" frame around the fuel cell to hold it in placeThe 2 outlets you see in the picture feed the pumpI had a -6an...
Stock calipers?Leave them alone... having them painted/coated any color looks cheap and a "wanna be" big brake caliper look IMOmy 2centsUnless your getting Brembos, then powdercoat them... will last you ALOT longer than cheapo VHT and look 10000x better
Its extremely simple...*Unplug the battery
*Remove the (4) bolts holding the airbag behind the steering wheel
*Unplug the airbag
*Remove the nut holding the steering wheelDone
Eh I would delete itPersonal Experience in 1g/2g/Evo/3000gtIts not that bad really.... the only time is when parking in small areas, but even then its not hardPeople that cry about how "tough" it is to turn are most likely the same people that cry about prothane motor mounts :idontknow:
IMO Menzerna is best however if your more of a budget person.... ive heard good things about 3M and AdamsBelow is a chart of which Menzerna's products to use
Best way is to use an impactBut im assuming you dont have one so i would find a way to lock down the flywheel, using a breaker bar to hold down a bolt is one way.... while you loosen the crank bolt with another breaker barYou can rent breaker bars for free at any autozone/oreilyPB...
If you buy the NRG Short hub adapters ($90)You should be able to make that work. It seems to have the same bolt pattern as the hubAlthough im not sure how safe that plate bolted on will hold
I believe i heard a similar story about GT Fab a long time ago but figured it was just rumorsI was also one of those lucky few that got the CF Doors in, TOP Notch and if they truly are made by Carbon EFX, then i would not hesitate to buy parts from them
Thats my car above in the quote...Ok im going to try and and write this without swearing...To my knowledge, i did not buy that carbon trunk or tailight from you and if i did, then you seem to have multiple company/screen names which solves alot of questions i had about you. That trunk...

I use a 21 gal Harbor Freight compressor and it works pretty well for most jobsPorting work will challenge compressors the most and mine can keep up at an "ok" paceI've had it for over 2 years and no problems yetCant beat the $200 price either ;)
Iv'e heard of a few bad Austin machine shops, especially down southOnly place in Austin i would trust is Precision up northThe place i use is Parks Engines in Seguin (1hr drive). I have taken quite a few DSM blocks/heads and have yet to have a single problem... not to mention they have a...

So.... you own the idea? and no one else should even attempt to improve upon itIn reality does it even matter who came up with the kit first? If that was the case, we would be no where in the evolution of aftermarket parts for anything, not just automotive....There is always room for...

Nice to see this car getting back on trackI agree that -10an is too big for the goals... -8an feed will be plenty.
I've seen first hand that -8an feed will support 850awhp on e100
