Did you measure the weight on the stock fenders and the carbon ?I have a 2g with carbon: doors, hood, hatch and a custom cf sunroof plug.
I never installed my cf fenders since I didnt think they would save me that much weight I have had them for two years now and havent bothered...
What Hp rage are you looking in to, how much fuel will you need and what fuel are you going to run on ? pump gas, race gas, e85 ........I would go with the stock tank, if you only need one walbroo 255 or Bosh 044 and dont need a cell for the track regulations.
