I HATE the sandblasting on car bodys.. you never can take out the sand fully from the body's chambers.. remained sand got and keeps the moisture.. I think the best primer is the OE paint...The steel panels not too thin.. 0.7-0.8mm.. about the suspension connection points got some...

Using a phosphoric acid based rust remover and converter.. we don't have and i dont know ospho but i think this maybe same working concept. But I brushed the rust through days, sometimes weeks, but the fluid can the rusted steel converted to clean steel, like on the first pic the lower left...

It was the "before" condition about half time of rust removing process:It will get some stone chip layer and some paint the underbody.. the red paint just an anticorrosive weldable primer.

I'm in a dilemma.. i have a set of sideskirts from a Talon TSi.. put back the old little Eclipse sideskirt, or paint and use the large TSi sideskirt? I can't choose yet..

Once my clutch hydraulic was punctured all oil leaked... was a funny drive to home without clutch. :D :DWhat's going on mine? umm.. got some rust repair under the chassis.. 32 years old.. and some rust appeared on the body around the rear suspension... :/..contd.A friend brings...

I think thats just a clutch hydraulic...

Long time no posting here... The reason: I built a boring car. In the last half year only collecting miles, and no new problem.. only the remained anomalies.. (some idle problems, and the noisy halfshaft/suspension bushing..) Find a rustless hood.. Nothing more.. :D :DSome new pics:

1000kilometers after the rebuild.. Only a starter, and a battery dies under the short break-in period..Almost everything else is works fine.. Some anomalies is waiting for repair (an outer CV joint, may a noise from a front trail arm busing).. but i like that lil car for daily.. :)

BTW.. about 4:20, that grey beast is f***in' beautyful!!! :hellyeah:😍😍😍😍😍

Wroooong.. It's a "JDM" GSR-4 version I think.. EDM N/A cars had full-yellow cornerlights and MANUAL seatbelts..Japan export Eclipses was a strange mix of EDM & USDM cars: got side turn signals on the fenders, usa spec cornerlights, and automatic seatbelts. ugly EDM mirrors and 15" wheels..

September's news: I1m just repaired the exhaust.. Putting some testing miles on the backroads of the neighborhood.. Ohh. then: We passed the inspection, the ride is legally driveable on the roads now..-----Took a picture included the almost all of the shitty-rotten parts what a dropped...

Last 3 weeks news... Painted the left side.. find a facelift EDM/JDM plastic rear bumper. :) Day by day looks better..Some before-after shots:And the rear..

From some angle, now looks like a car.. but calm down everybody, the other side has 4 different color yet... :D :D :D
