I've loved my SBR G60-1 (no longer available) on my 2.3L setup, which is very similar size-wise to the HX40. I'm running stock cams and have no problem getting ~20psi by 3400rpm when driving on the street.
I ran a SBR 60-1 on my 2.3L for a while until it overheated and, well, fell apart. It was a great turbo with ~20psi hitting around 3300rpm. I'm now looking at a turbo that will better fit my daily driving habits and would love to try something in the size you have.The others on this thread...

The timing looks good after about 5500, but before there you're going to have to do some fine tuning.A boost leak will cause the car to run rich. Get it fixed and it'll run considerably better.

Ok, I remember a long time ago I saw a faq about fixing the rattle when closing a 2g door with the window down.I didn't think much of it because mine didn't rattle, but now they do and I can't figure out what to do. Does anyone have any insight? I couldn't find it searching or using vfaq.
Never dynoed or raced at the track (car has always been in south dakota... (home)). Car was very fast though, I didn't run it at 30psi but once, which was an accident. I normally run it at 21psi on pump 93.
