When I was trying to remove the pulley off I had the cam gears locked in place and the crankshaft still spinning. After it locking up the pulley came out, I'm gonna assume I gotta do the timing over? But any reason for it to have done that?
No when the car is off it doesn't leak at all but I'm going to try the oil dye and see what I can find out with that. Just weird how it doesnt leak at all after a few minutes of being warmed up then sprays it.. buddy of mine says he thinks it could be the front cover gasket but not entirely sure.
Was wondering if anybody could help me out with this problem. So originally I had thought the oil pan was leaking because the old one was bent up and had a slight crack fixed it and then this happens not exactly sure if it's the oil pan because when I first start the car nothing leaks at all...
Hello I was wondering has anybody ever resolved the issue regarding a grinding noise( from the starter) when trying to crank to start the car I got a new starter for my car it stopped making the noise the first few time I started it up and now yet again makes the noise sounds super bad I checked...
Anybody ever figure it out I also have the same problem I've changed the starter as well ran good no noise for couple days then happened again not sure why. If it were to be the wrong starter plate wouldn't it have made the noise from the start?
