When u run a wastegate off the o2 housing your wastegate flap is either removed or welded open, in order to run a wastegate off the manifold it would need to be welded shut. Would be easier to get a dump tube that does not get in your way then set it up to run off the manifold just fyi.

Smell the exhaust does it have a sweet smell to it? Normally white smoke indicates coolant leaking in the exhaust. Does not need to be a bad head gasket it could also be your turbo seals.
I traded my last eclipse for a wrx, at the time I was happy because I really wanted the subie but after driving it a bit I hated it. It just was not the same compared to a built eclipse a stock wrx is slow
Apex is prob best machine shop in my state I guess bill has even done machine work for boostin from what I’ve been told. And let me say they were amazing knew far more about 4g63’s then any other shop ive ever been too. Downfall was block took about 3 months and about a month on the head.

I’m running Mahle 10.1 Pistons, Mahle run a lot tighter then other pistons, most ppl say the ptw is too tight have yet to see any issues with them though. Mahle is prob the biggest of the all the piston companies also as they make thousands of cars stock pistons.
