They're 205/55/16.I should mention that the front of my car is fine but the rear is jacked up. it puts my car at a slant which is why I'm asking about this.@jinscho thanks for the info, that's very helpful :) I want to do the job right and this helps immensely.
I have a 97 Spyder GST and in the rear, there's these suspension pieces which cross diagonally and rub against my tires. It also causes the rear of my car to be jacked way up with a three to four inch gap between wheel and fender. My question is this: does a mod exist to fix this, such as a...
Again, he isn't buying them, merely spending a little time with them.
No, Doug isn't the most qualified person to rate any car, but he's somewhat informative, and helps cars get exposure.
Maybe we can look at the positive: mute the video and it's a high-quality time capsule of what these cars were. In the age of well-cared for DSM's this is something that I find is quite rare.Doug is only mildly informative. This is his job though, and he doesn't have the time to love them like...
Are there any community updates I missed? Bar my thread back in August about Doug DeMuro looking for a stock DSM to review I've been inactive here. I signed up back when I was a... Uneducated, less mature 15-year-old with a hardon for a 20-year-old car.Perhaps there's a DSMTuners Discord I...
Doug Demuro, the YouTube car reviewer, is searching for a clean, unmodded DSM!Here's a link to the source of this Reddit Comment. Help the DSM platform (and possibly guest-star on YouTube) by getting ahold of him via Reddit, Facebook, or Email. (He doesn't respond to YouTube comments, be...
I think it might be backfire that's internally fixed a moment later, coupled with a leak. Don't take my word for it.Although removing control solenoids sounds dangerous. Try getting a new control solenoid rated for higher limits.
Maybe bidsnipe it, and then we can work out an agreement? I'm trying to get ahold of a 2g DSM in great condition like that. Its next sell day is this upcoming Wednesday
Recently I've been staring down a GS-T slated to be crushed up if not auctioned off in 5 days ( D: ) and it's really sad. For those of you in the New York area, you can probably bid-snipe it from CoPart Auto Auctions for as low as $60.I'd love to get it if I could, but it's over 1,000 miles...
I laughed so hard for a moment when I saw the first photo, then I found out it was an Eagle. I ROFL'd at that point. Anyways, it's great you've got a car I've never seen before.
I'm no professional on this statement: I believe it could be high oil pressure.
I am a professional on this statement: Trust what @Chumpaumpalumpa says..."Keep calm and trust the Chump"
Maybe only real serious people gut their interiors. And the pieces are call "Interior Parts" on purpose. They look better inside, not outside.Maybe you should say, "Or show me your nice interiors!"
This sounds more like a localized model for Europe but I'd say try to match wire colors, and if that doesn't work try tracing the circuits/wires to source.
That's pretty impressive. My dad would hate getting beat by a sleeper, but then again, He's challenged me to a drag race once I get my 2g Eclipse. It's ridiculous because his car is a '92 Civic Hatchback with barely any mods (Engine brace and cooling pipe)
You can take out a lot of parts and get away with it. My dad once totaled a '97 Camry, and he pulled out nearly everything worth something. When it went to get scrapped, they were irked that stuff was missing but they still paid up their deal.
If it has little (severe) damage, why not repair it? I mean if it's fixable, just let the "totaled" tag be added and then fix it up. Why scrap a good car?
