I'll check both the timing and the belt , I maid sure not to let the belt skip a tooth.

Thought the odd noice was becaust i didnt put the rest of the exhaust on, but it started to idle roughly and shake pretty good so i figure my timing was a tad off. had to also keep rpm up to keep it from vibrating badly.

i Just need to know , What is the tool called that installs a harmonic balencer. The guy that does the install on youtube hits the harmonic balener with a hammer onto the crank and i know that isnt the way to do the install.Any suggestions ????

The belt still wont go on , ive tryed and hoping yall have another solution. the only other way ive gotten the belt on , is with the tensioner off.

It's not getsling the cover that's the prob , its getting to the cover. I have a donor car at a junkyard that I've been pulling stuff off of.

Also one more thing , my timing cover cracked near the bottem torward the crank , i know its not as safe as running with a timing cover , but it shouldnt affect anything for the mean time with no timing cover correct??

My subframe pictuers of the bent protion on the right side and the non bent portion on the left side.

Subframe is my main problem , me and my buddy checked the back right were one of the arms gos to the subfram , I pushed back due to the curb upon impact. I'll take more pictures for those who ever have the same problem.

Seems fun , the only task that acuely seems to worry me is re-timing the motor. Not scared of it on a 4g63 because theres so many videos on how to , but 420a not so many. I'll go get the compression tester asap I hate it smoking it looks bad.

Just an update on what had happened . the talon was totaly to much and needed alittle bit of everything.

Ill just remove the cylinder , when i get the car and bring it to a locksmith 45$ for a key is much more affordable on my tight budget.no need to go back and forth with the door key and the ignition key. ill pull both if i have to.

Would the key to the door be the same as the ignition?? i know on my sisters ford truck theres 2 diffrent keys 1 for door , 2 for ignition.Im sure a handle will be much more...easier.
