Thanks for my new title... Marty change my membership type to this!Rotary tools can do cool stuff. Not an eclipse but did this with my old boosted accord for the need for speed led feelBeforeMiddleAfter
You really wouldnt know until you do WOT pulls. Deadtime really doesnt matter at WOT anyway so may be really close. And most dont dyno their cars cleaning up fuel to get every last HP. 10.8 afr is richer than Id like to see for power. He could be close for sure.. but I personally wouldnt send...
This is my point. Plug and play still requires fine tuning.Just dont want to see misleading info that plugging in FIC numbers is all you need to do and your good to go. Sure you can get the car to start and even drive if you have narrow band to correct fuel. Thats what the FIC numbers are...
I AM happy you got it up and running! In years of doing this Ive NEVER seen injector dtaa plug and play without some tweaking. Can usually get you close for a start up though. I am skeptical that your numbers will line up in the long run of the tune but would be great for you if they did and...
Firing up and running correct are 2 different things.Would love to see a log of a warmed up idle and some cruising around. Would definitely help the forum if they could be proven to be that easy
My dremel has done so much for me!What kind of manifold is it? Stock? You should be able to find long bushes that would get in it.You can soak it in laquer thinner for a night... but its nasty stuffIt doesnt have to be perfect. If you want perfect get it vapored.
As long as the numbers line up once put in. Never know until theyvare in for sure.Ive had some that need major tweaking... some that dont. Its case by case
Also did you check here... jnz usually stays up on whats in stockhttps://jnztuning.com/product/ostar-mitsubishi-1g-awd-dsm-gvr-4-rear-subframe-bushing-kit/
Making your own poly is pretty easy.. i made my own for my trans side until I got a better one from boostedfab. As a matter of fact if you reach out to them they may do some solid bushings for subframe.
Honestly if youre not sure whats going on with the cams you are going to be fighting this forever. Guessing will only keep adding to your frustration. If it were me Id redo all timing and make sure my cams were degreed properly.Cant fix mechanical issues with tuning. You can hide some but not fix
I was trying to read through to see what your base idle is. It looks like iys idling almost at 1100 rpm based on your picture. You may want to try adjusting fcoffset by 200rpm to compensate and see how that does for your catching of the idle.If youre not targetting 1100rpm then you have other...
Ecmlink does a great job for most of us. If I was going to ever leave it behind it would be for fueltech. Just so many features and pretty easy to configure. I believe fueltech would require us with 1g to add a crank trigger... but thats not a horrible thing to do
They are VMS. Im always skeptical. Ive only used ngks for years but the resistance readings are promising. Of course there are several factors other than resistance on performance but I was impressed initially
Found some 10.2mm wires.. ohm'd out the difference with ngk and these at 20k settingNgk at 20k was 5.54
These at 20k were 0.11This was on the #4 plug wire for both to use the longest possible for readings
Bled coolant.. recalibrated O2(nobody reminded me but I remembered hahah)Got car up to temp for fans to kick on... having trouble with the plug making correct contact unless its in EXACTLY THE RIGHT PLACE!May need to try and depin and see whats up. Almost have to tug on the wires(gently) to...
If thats my post over there it was a faulty 02 sensor giving me false readings. Started sticking at full lean shortly after that post and resettinh itself like it was warming up again.Dead over there so never bothered to update. My bad
