looking for somebody local around Bellingham area that knows what they are doing with ecmlink trying to get my injectors and idle dialed in...Its a fully fresh built 95 gsx...willing to compensate for time and possible travel

i had the same problem after a rebuild thought it was a valve seal stuck but it ended up being my turbo.. but it would do it the mostly decelerating

yeah its probably just the gasket in the housing..i had the same problem..somebody was probably to lazy to buy a new one and just tried to use some rtv

id recommend some arp head studs also..you don't wanna torque and loosen stock bolts multiple times

95 still has cas its behind the right cam gear

Most tire shops sell the lug keys just take a pic and show them

after i set timing i usually hand crank the motor a couple times to tighten up the belt then check timing marks..as long as there is no binding or unusual noise while doing so it shouldn't hurt anything. plugs out so easier to turn

as long as all the other timing marks are on point it looks like it would be fine...how many times did you hand crank the motor after setting the timing?

Definitely recommend deleting..it makes timing so much easier and it's 1 thing less to worry about breaking

is it more of a whining noise? could be overtightened belt, maybe a leaking bov? if they did the trans they prob removed piping

if you think there could be more air in system hit up a lube shop..most lube shops have a rad flush machine that runs off vacuum...it hooks up at fill hole and sucks coolant out and any trapped air while motor is running. The vacuum it creates sucks new coolant back into motor..it will not work...

I wouldn't replace the thermostat until you get all the crap out of the system..if you get large particles in the system it could affect the performance of the thermostat.. plus if you have it out you dont have to wait for it to get warm enough to open

I agree and definatley a good time to get the head resurfaced

I would pull out the thermostat go to local parts store and pick up a couple bottles of rad flush and run the motor awhile with heater on high drain it and repeat......have you used any tap water in the cooling system?
