OK if I stripped a gear y can't I go to another?

ok so i have full fluid. so if shift to neutral and to drive it catches it moves a few feet then kicks out but soon as i put it in neutral again and drive i can move more feet and it kicks out so im beginning to think its the shift pack. plz guys tell me what you think if im on the right track...

Shift cables are fine. So I don't know now?

Check your plugs I fouled mine out and it did that until I replaced them.

To clear up on the turbo. The t25 Garrett turbo is 2gen eclipse/talon turbo aka td05 I believe the td05 is the t25 but not 100% sure on that part

So today I pulled up to a stop sign and I had no gears I put it in reverse and was able to go reverse just fine but I thought it was my fluid so dumped 4 quarts of atf +3 in and it took it all which was wiered and a bottle of Lucas trans stop slip and my car felt like it went in to gear but...

The td04 I belive is a 1gen eclipse turbo.

Sounds like a bad ecm to me but I can be wrong.

i need a diagram for the heater so i can put my stuff in to permanent defrost mode my wire that goes to it froze up and i dont have time to pull my dash apart but need defroster. currently its stuck on vents but i know there has to be a accutor around the box to put it in defrost lol

It only does that surge when I go past 3000 rpms and then after awhile I drop to 0 rims after I let of throttle cat still running but running like crap

Ok so let me give some history. My timing belt broke and bent 12 valves out of 16 lol so took the head apart and cleaned it out new valves in and gaskets and water pump and timing belt and it runs better now but how many miles do I have to break the head in since I pretty much half rebuilt it lol

ok i have a question sometimes when i take off from a light or stop sign my car lags but most of the time it takes of pretty quick but when it lags it dont pick up power tell the turbo kicks in so what the heck could cause that.

Could be a fault fuel pressure solenoid or your wiring.

that's the thing I have a eclipse gst manual with a bad motor and other parts wrong with it in my yard so no it wouldn't be cheaper to just buy a manual edition. I just want to know the pros and cons if I switch my auto one out for that manual what the pros and cons on both the auto and the manual

ok i have a 95 eagle talon tsi my question is is it a mitsubishi trans or chrysler trans is it the same as the 420a trans?

it looks alot like mine to the only difference is the j pipe looking part on the other end of the muffler mine does not have that so all i have is the muffler with the pipe and no j pipe and i have the other pipe you have the j pipe i believe i have a straght pipe there.

Update: the alternator voltage reg failed today when my problem got worse so im 95% sure that was the problem for my slow starts but also when i cranked it over it dropped to 9.2 volts on the tester and they tested battery and it passed but alt didnt
