FP makes something for every power level you’d want in a bolt on housing.

68HTA is a fantastic turbo for anything up to 450whpIf you go the Holset route just remember they’re physically large and they like high boost pressures to get into their efficiency range and make any power.

Go with whatever is familiar to the person tuning it.

Buy a used FP turbo then. I’ve seen greens and reds go for $400-$650 fairly often. And if he can’t afford that then he can’t afford the clutch and fuel upgrades that go along with it either.

General rule of thumb for maintenance is that if you have to ask, you should probably just go ahead and do it.

Depends on how and where it was stored. It’s possible it could be ok, it’s possible it could have started rotting.

I’ve had two 4 spiders and two welded diffs. I have power steering. It’s fine. You only really notice it on u-turns. These cars have a horrific turning radius already so it’s not like you won’t be making a 3 point turn anyways. Send it out to Jack’s.
