    You have to push it through with a good bit of effort but it can be done. I used the same gauge of wire. Having another person could make it easier but I did it by myself. I'd suggest putting the wire in through the engine bay side first so you have a lot more room.

    Yep cylinder walls look great. Timing is dead nuts 1000% in check. The block has idle time I was told. I'm getting it towed to the sellers place for him to figure it out cause my buddy and I have zero time now to work on it. Anything is possible to be wrong at this point.

    Replaced the head completely with a great condition head and the compression actually became worse on all 4 cylinders. Zero bent valves, everything 100% so the short block is the issue.
