Yea I actually got the e4 message after I did the ecu wiring so I had to replace the sensor and a free aird it.im back tracking now re hooking up the stock o2 and running the wideband into the egt pin.
My problem now is just that crazy lag im getting when it starts to boost almost feels like tge anti lag oppporation but I dont have it selected... so I dont think its a tunning problem at this point really. .
i attached a log, im getting bad bad lag when i start to boost at all not sure what it is. thanks in advance. just need and idea or two where to look and start. im on 91oct pump gas.
heres a new idle log with all the stuff i need but the maftcomp. doing a drive log to soon to hopefully get this lag out. thanks again man i cant tell you enough how much i appreciate the help.
But I still need to figure out my wire problem dont I? Cause its not hooked up right. Or does it seem to be all working cause my cars still doing that weird lag when going into boost.
I love these cars but its definitely a love hate relationship haha.
i have it selected in the baro input. i guess i just need to figure out what map wire is supposed to go to the ecu baro pin and somehow back track this stupid kids wiring..
Im so confused.... yea im talking about the manifold presure tab. and i dont have any wire hooked up with the baro wire of the ecu. also just went to get gas and cars great untill i give it a little gas and it like bogs down some..thank you for your help again i feel pretty stupid at this...
log of the ide now...... also if I take it out of baro mode to anything else like intake it dies. But if I go to undefined it my a/f richens up to about 9:1
Dammit I hate other peoples projects.... not whats the deal is with that tapped group of wires with two wires coming out. One is going to pin 9 and the other was going to pin 4 but its not being used now because of the wideband.
I got the car and havnt touched much on the ecmlink side of these much. Im just trying to learn how it all works amd what settings I need set. Ive been reading the tuning guide on here also, but that only helps so much.
Just did that now its not starting...turns over. Acting like its not getting gas.bthe wire in my hand is the end I capped on and it goes into the harness the red wire is attached to the yellow on my wideband.
Oppppp thats it then I have the yellow wire wrapped with the end of the wire that going away from the ecu. Do I want to be butting all three wires togather or ditch the wire going away from the ecu?
Well it was in pin three. So spliced it into pin four (green with yellow stripe wire). Wrapping the yellow wire from the wideband with the outgoing end in one side of the butt connector and the end going to the ecu in the other end of the connector. Ecmlink on my computer is still reading...
its saying 7.5:1 all the time sorry didnt clarify, at idle and Wot. it just never changes. also sorry again im running Speed Density, im new to link aswell. ill get a log and post it up asap if that helps. Ive been trying to get it tuned but closest shop is a three hour drive away. so its just...
I just took out my stock 02 sesor and replaced it with my wideband, i went to ecmlink and enabled narrowband simulation and added it to my loged values. When i try to capture a log in ECMLINK it tells me that my A/F is 7.5:1 and doesnt move at all, but my mtx-l gauge is reading good Ive searched...
like it said, small update haha, i just figured id show that im chnaging these parts because they are not enough for the hoursepower and boost i want in the end.
small update haha, so about three years ago i bought a junk 90 tsi and was planning a 300hp car, LOL , plans changed i now have about 400hp on the stock block. So the other motor parts i have are not ment for 600hp.
going with a different head gasket and the MAP h11 head studs.
just moved so...
Sweet thanks guys, I think I'll end up with a fluidamper. Probably right at the start seeing as I'm running all forged internals, although I plan to run balance shafts, unless I really see a reason not to. I havnt looked into it much though, is it not just to shed weight from the rotating assembly?
I'm planning to move up to 600hp from my 400 now, I'm swapping out this jdm engine for a built bottom end, my question, is the OEM harmonic balancer enough or is everyone using the fluidampr one. I dont see it mentioned in build threads.
I've never run one of those intercoolers, but from what I hear they are not efficient, I use etss with my fp green, more people will swear my ets too they make a great fmic, but does cost a bit.
I spaced out E85 that helps. What size tires for the front did you plan on. Also now knowing you have a built block 2000ccs and have dss making your axels, should lay the plan out better maybe like some of the other builds.
Haha I had not a clue what nutswingers ment lol I'm not into Hondas but doesn't that motor make like 180-190 stock, that's some work to get it to five, but I'm not a Honda guys so I don't know what it tales to get there with that motor, I'm interested to see how you get all this to work in the...
True car guys? Nutswingers? Haha. You are swapping a Honda motor into a DSM saying its for reliability, yet trying to make 500hp? For a drag car And losing the awd? No disrespect but swapping a b18 and making the car FWD is pointless. If you are trying to go run a 1/4 why not stay awd. But it...
Yes I would get the free one first, but long term if you have subs, save up for a Saturn one and do the swap, cause it will save you time of running back to AutoZone in a year to replace another alternator with those subs.
Really if you wanted a 500hp race car like the build says you could rebuild an OEM block and make that, not have to make a custom harness and everything else to just fit a Honda motor. What motor is it? And if you want to make 500hp stuff will need to be fixed, you won't get 200k at 20 psi most...
ROFL we are talking about how much power you would lose in the drive train in a AWD vs FWD , to figure out how much power you dyno the car correct? Have you ever seen tire spin be a problem in a dyno? If we were talking about a FWD vs an AWD in a race yes the AWD will launch harder, but doesn't...
Hey guys I bought a 1993 gsx I know it runs rich right and when I get into the settings of link it doesn't seam like it has been tuned at all and if u see my list of parts I have a good amount of stuff, just don't have the 300 to get it tuned just need a little guidance and help
Appreciated...
