I would first check all gaskets . Then do a complete tune up , oil , plugs, etc. It wont take, more than 70 to 80 buck. So now you know you have a healthy ride. After that maybe a leak down test and just go from there. Hope it helps
By the symptons ykur are having might be tbat you hVe defective fuel pump and might be better that you purchase a new one and not a used one. Remember fuel filter is a must. Maintenace is a must. Alzo check for boodt leaks. Good luck and keep updated let me see what happens.
That really sucks. I'm getting my gst back after having to swap he engine from a seven bolt to a six bolt with a 14b turbo.. have fun with your car because I know I will have fun with mine.
Thats a tough one, but it is a problem i live in laredo Tx. So i don't go through that except for like a day or two. I would check seals makesure windows are properly sealed and your heaterworkin. Good luck

I couldn't agree more with clipto. They can be alittle tricky but you eventually find a way. I got a wrench to hold the screw and with another wrench i got the filter loose. About the line to the fuelrail iwould suggest you tape the end and if you need to cut, go ahead with the taped end. Hope...
Fuel pump is no where near the transmission. Fyi fuel pump is located under the backseats and fel filter is under the battery above the the transmission. Easy to remove and easier to install.
I'd go with the pillar because that way you only turn once and you have your three gauges (thats if you have the triple pods pillar) and dont have to worry to look the other way.. wprks for me but then again its your choice.
I agree with these guys, you should first get an aftermarket gauge that will let you read the oil pressure with accuracy. After you have gotten your gauge come back and report to this again..
Welcome to tuners. I plan on buildin mine too in a couple of weeks. Remember to use pu,ctuation marks and check grammar too when posting. Good luck on your build.
I agree with crash89 you should get an intake manifold gasket first before anytbing. I had the same problem once, boughta new gasket and wala! Problem solved.
