Here is somewhat of an answer for ya. Back in the day before the dam car walked on me I ran a b16g, fuel pump,3" exhaust, intake, bov, uic pipes and I was able to run a 14.3 on a really burnt clutch. I did not have injectors of safc and I was able to run 13 psi and the car felt a hell of a lot...
Well i have some bad news for ya. If you are hearing that noise all the time it can be a bad balance shaft bearing or rod knock. My bet is if all that happened well you did some serious damage to the engine and I would pull the oil pan and see if you have any shavings in there. If so then you...

Man you have to tell me where to get all the T belt items for that price. My last timing belt cost me $350 for all the parts from the dealer. But he is right you go to a shop and they will charge you anywhere from $650 to $1k. Just do it yourself.
Check you shifter linkage under the hood. There should be a little play but nothing out of the ordinary. Also make shure that you can shift by hand into all gears 1 through reverse. If you can that means that your shifter linkage is going or gone bad.Rich
I used a supra sidemount and it droped my time by 3 tenths in the quater. If you want to read up on this go to www.vfaq.com. There is a couple of install instructions on there.Rich
